The XGT Impact Driver features a Makita-built brushless motor that delivers up to 230NM of Max Torque, allowing it to outpower similar models in heavy load applications. It features digitally controlled modes for a wide variety of applications, including speed control and tightening modes to prevent sheet metal screw stripping.

The TD004GZ01 features Tightening Mode (T-mode) for faster tightening of self-drilling screws in thin gauge metal, it also helps prevent damage to the screw or workpiece. The Impact Driver features 4 speed settings (0-1,200/ 0-2,100/ 0-3,00/ 0-3,900 RPM & 0-1,900/ 0-3,100/ 0-3,600/ 0-3,900 IPM) for increased versatility and added user convenience.
