Makita is expanding the line of cordless outdoor power equipment with the 18V LXT 46cm Telescoping Articulating Pole Hedge Trimmer. The motor delivers up to 3,600 SPM for faster cutting. It is a welcome solution for professional hedge trimming because there are no pull starts, zero emissions, lower noise, and reduced maintenance.

Ten angle settings provide efficient trimming of overhead and low-lying hedges. The telescoping shaft easily adjusts the length from 1.82m to 2.4m to access hard-to-reach hedges. The 46cm dual-action double-sided shear blade provides optimal performance.

Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is a protective seal inside the tool. It is designed to improve a tool’s operation in harsh conditions by channelling water and dust from key internal components.
