Here at CBS Power Tools we are often asked if we can give our customers tips on how to store their Power Tool Batteries, we know that storing batteries properly will not only extend their life but it will also make your power tools work better.
We often find that cordless power tools are a firm favourite for a wide range of tasks as there is no need to use long cords and cables around the site which could result in a trip or fall. Here we have some top tips of how to store your power tool batteries:
- It is highly recommended you remove your battery from the power tool after use.
- Always store your batteries right side up and in a place that does not have direct sunlight or an area that will exceed temperatures of 122F or temperatures below 50F.
- It is important to note that you will need to recharge your battery after bringing it out from storage; batteries discharge themselves while not in use.
- Don't leave your batteries in the power tool when they are being stored and do not place items on top of the batteries
