Aamir Shirazi
We are honoured to be supporting local Aamir from the Top Yard School Of Boxing Peterborough.
Aamir Shirazi is a 17-year-old boxer from Peterborough boxing out of Topyard school of boxing with 11 years of experience and 52 amateur fights.
Aamir has won two national titles and has been ranked #1 in England for 2 seasons in a row, along with six regional titles and seven international box cup gold medals. Aamir has beaten several national champions, including Ireland’s #1 and New Zealand’s #1, who was ranked #1 in all of Oceania at the time.
Aamir showcased his talent against the New Zealand boxer at the Haringey Box Cup in the famous Alexandra Palace in which Aamir won unanimously.
Aamir trains intensely, sparring with some of the best amateur boxers across the country and training 2-3 times a day. He’s also reached the finals of four national championships, making him one of the most accomplished and experienced young boxers in the country.
